utility and is found elevating the race, rousing the dormant understanding from
material beliefs to the apprehension of spiritual ideas and the demonstration of

Who are we?
Christian Science is a Bible-based system of spiritual healing and living. It was founded by Mary Baker Eddy, "to commemorate the word and works of our Master" and to "reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing" (Church Manual). She gives a full explanation of the system in her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, first published in 1875. In 1879, she established the Church of Christ, Scientist. It consists of the Mother Church in Boston (The First Church of Christ, Scientist) and about 2,000 branches worldwide, in 80 countries. Our church is one of these branch churches. We hold services on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. All are welcome.
